COR 2006! =)

Just awoken from my 15 hours slumber..hee.. =)

Now shall give a quick summary of my 4 days 3 nite Camp Out Reach trip (COR)..

haha..
*first day*
met up with jiahuan to go lavendar at 6+am, met cl n yeok in the mrt as well..
my attached was chin chye.. a seemingly quiet guy.. tat wld prove me wrong.. :P
the first day was low elements like team building games.. and wall climbing and abseiling..
we built tents as well.. n it was only when the taxi gang came.. tat our group was finally complete.. n it was as if they brought more life to the whole camp as well.. :) at least it was wat i felt.. =)
the first nite was fun as we played cards under the stars.. only illuminated by the headlamp zh wore.. while the rest slept under tents.. me cl n jiahuan slept outside, under the stars.. =)

*2nd day*
trekked gunung panti! haha.. was so xiong leh! 13km mt expedition.. not mentioning the various slopes n those.. we were feeding the leeches as well! there were countless leeches esp after tat rainy morning.. n almost all of us from group a n b suffered wounds.. hahaa.. with my most famous wound.. the legendary gunshot wound near my heart by a leech which got there by some unexplainable way.. n got crushed! resulting in my shirt stained in a circular red stain like a gunshot wound.. haha..
but the trip was memorable.. although it was xiong, no one gave up.. n we kept moving.. even on the cliff with only ropes n roots to support us.. it was dangerous some more.. we were not supported anyway by belays or wat.. only by our own grasp of the the cliff wall.. but the final destination was so rewarding.. on top of hte mountain, we cooked our meal n enjoyed the breeze.. :) everyone moved on without hesitation of the obstacles tat awaited us.. nor the fear.. i'm sure i along wld not hath accomplished wat we had done.. =) memorable!

*3rd day*
went to desaru waterfall in the morning, haaa.. was not intending on getting wet, only there to look after my attached.. but jiahuan invited me to go pao legs, so i went into the water wetting only my legs.. n me,ws n edmund started catching fish for keshia.. yl came too.. haha.. n it was then.. i fell into the water cos the rocks in the water v slippery.. n i got drenched! ah! hahaa.. unintended wetness! :) now.. i got to change into a new set of clothes.. stains of my gunshot wound started spreading.. n start scaring ppl n myself tat my wound opened again.. haha..

afternoon, booked into the desaru holiday chalet, n it was buffet time! for the mosquitoes tat is.. aiyo! haha.. the chalets are flooding with hungry mosquitoes.. i nvr got bitten so much even in the rainforest area.. whole hands n legs are all mosquito bites now.. the most unlucky part was tat there was even a family of monkeys living on top of my group's chalet.. got at least six monkeys on my rooftop man.. big n small ones.. n they keep trying to get into ppl chalet for food.. n our monkeys keep looking at us when we going to enter the room.. the chalet was super rundown some more.. hahaa.. rusty doors.. a hole for the water to flow through as shower.. rusty fridge.. it so looks like those horror show de house.. hahaa..

n it was beach time after booking in.. me n alvin started to catch ws for the hi wanted to throw him into the water.. but he runs super fast! haha.. hath to wear him down.. haha.. though he surrendered to the hi finally.. haha..

*last day*
were playing cards with shuyuan they all.. then was so seh le.. unexpectedly, saw yx, yl and ws come into the chalet to ask me out? :O hm.. they say ah hai one person v sian there, so they want to find more ppl to play cards with.. extend invitation to me.. haha.. first time so many ppl come here n invite me.. so honoured leh.. haha.. so i bade farewell to shuyuan they all.. n unsuspectingly went into their chalet.. saw ah hai, grace n rm sitting there.. so i went to sit in between grace n ah hai as there was a space in between them.. n the next moment, grace dragged me onto the bed, n ah hai pounced on me.. n everyone who invited me.. pounced on me n tao pok me! wah! scheming leh they.. :P n iwas not the only and last one who was tricked into the trap.. haha...

wee hours.. haha.. we(sunrise company) played cards tgt with alvin, lih lih, lewis, jinhe, lee tat,chaowei teaming up in groups of 3 haha.. the chuiness of the "S H E" hahaa.. and our group (grace, yl and me) always depending on the feng shui of the cards.. hahaa.. the cards game ended at 5+am and everyone was so seh.. n everyone left other than the sunrise ppl.. we were all sitting on the bed.. in the chuiness, i started "elbowing" yx who was sitting beside me.. hahaa... :P n later we both tried to snatch the pillow from grace n yl n also "elbow" them.. hahaa.. the fight for just a single pillow.. hahaa.. :P
then we set off for the sunrise..

never had a sunrise so fun n memorable before.. :p haha.. our company of 9 (zh,ws,yx,pat,yl,rm,grace,vanessa and me) came out of the "chalet" at 6+am to go to the beach to watch sunrise.. upon reaching there, we started taking lots of photos and me n yl immediately start burying ppl legs in the sand.. wahaha... first target was yx.. hers the most sand de.. hahaa.. followed by pat, ws,zh,grace,vanessa.. they were too tired and nice to put up much of a fight.. hahaa.. :P after tat, with yx,pat n ws concussed on the sand.. me, yl n rm started dancing n singing childrens songs under the moonlight ard zh.. hahaa.. grace n vanessa started joining in after a while.. n we all looked like siao kias.. :P dancing n singing under the moonlight.. wahaha.. but tat was super fun! :) hahaa.. then.. we started feeling the urge to shout some stuff.. haha.. ah hai started shouting da hai! haha.. then as a result, we woke up yx.. then the 7 of us.. started to act like those ou xiang ju ppl.. hahaa.. shouting da hai! at the sea :) "da hai, xie xie ni ci yu wo men sheng ming!".. haha.. i hath weird feeling of sun as xian ya dan.. n persuaded them to shout.. "tai yang, hao yi ge xian ya dan ar!" hahahaha..... :P then ws came to take video of us, running towards the sun, shouting this line.. hahaaa.. we all are really crazily on hor.. :P hahaa.. but.. i like! wahaha... then we started having weird tag lines as the sun began to rise.. things like "da jia yao xing fu oh!" "ni yao xing fu oh!" hahaa.. :D we are ou xiang ju ppl! :)
as the sun began to rise more, other than the countless photos taken, me,yx n yl started kicking water on each other! haha.. i was dry de loh! chou yx! haha.. :P after a while, me, yx n yl were all wet.. hahaa.. dragged grace n vanessa to join in the kicking water competition.. hahaa.. zh n pat were busy taking photos, ws n rm were digging lagoons n ponds to find crabs..
haha..
as the sun showered the beach a golden glow, our laughters filled the sea..
and our footprints left a lasting impression on our memories..
and tat is the sunrise tat i cherish and i noe will hold tat special place in our hearts.. the day we went without restrains.. and acted like a child reborn under the moonlight, bathing in the light of the morning sun before the horizon..

*end of COR*
reached lavendar at 12+pm yest, waited for the ppl from group c and d to eat lunch,
on way back,fell asleep on the bus and had to walk home a few stops..
finally home at ard 5+pm and bathed and concussed till ard 9 am today.. =)

overall.. i'm so glad tat i went cor, wld not hath went if not for yx,yl and zh who persuaded n jioed me to go.. =) n also if ws had not found me a vacancy.. =) thanks guys! :D hee.. memories to last a lifetime.. n the sunrise tat i wld always always cherish.. =)
