Different Weekends

hm.. A different weekend from the past weekends..

Celebrated jun's bday yest (sat) morning..
haha..
initial plan was to meet up for food and probably it's buffet!
(so long since i ate any buffet.. haha..)
but in the end.. due to "somebody" (me again) being late.. haa..
we only managed to meet up at 1030 instead of 0930..
stomachs growling, we went to breakfast at the kopi bread stall at level 1 west mall
haha..
it feels great to eat breakfast in the early morning..
and esp stuff like kaya butter toasted bread, 2 eggs and hot teh! yummy!
haha.. simple breakfast on a simple morning is refreshing!

plan again was to second round with buffet either at bali thai or sakae sushi..
but due to stomachs still full at 12pm..
we had to find an alternative which was mayim (tian le li)..
haha.. tat place had become our fav hangout le..
as it was the 2nd time we lunched there since linhui came back..
super adored the chicken soup.. super rich chicken soup.. haha..
plus we had 2 baskets of xiao long bao and guo tie
gui fei chicken and tom yum dumplings
silver cod fish in some sauce..
haha..
n rose petaled jasmine tea!
finishing off with gui ling gao, mango pudding and tang yuan in peanuts!

next was tuition at clementi..
it was crapping session since me n jun tutees not here again..
haha.. chilling out(nuahing) at clementi centre is great..

supposed to go joanna bday..
but meeting ah boy they all to celebrate wq bday le..
so.. met up with ah boy they all at ah erh house..
n had black pepper wings from mac delivery..
haha.. sinful.. n twister fries too..
washed it down with pepsi n green tea..
haha.. n played with doggie.. haha
the doggie's real fierce.. keeps growling.. hahaa..
n cd n ah boy keep agitating her n hiding behind us
haha.. but feels great to sit ard n not do anything..
haha.. stoning feels great.. haha..

haha..
to end the sat was germany n portugal match..
haha.. tot i wun hath stayed up to watch..
but a short glimpse of the match my bro was watching..
charmed me so much i hung ard for the whole match..
hahaa..fast paced game! haha..
my heart thumped whenever portugal tried to score a goal..
haha.. i support neither.. though many ard me supports germany..
but i dun wan to watch a one sided match.. haha..
can sort of feel the spirited portugals in the later half..
though they really seem to hath weak defense esp at the side..
cheered when figo crossed n the guy (i dunno the name) dived and scored!
haha.. kahn was stunned! hahaa.. yay! good last effort portugal!

today was family (brother n cousin) day out..
haha.. super long since i went out with my bro!
yay! haha..
went out with him n ah boy to watch the king n the clown
met hs at bl mrt! so long nvr meet up with rv ppl le.. hm.. must arrange!
hm.. was expecting quite a bbm show..
but the movie turned out to be quite different from expected..
there was bits of this twisted desires here n there of the ppl in the movie..
but generally the focus was on the friendship
between the gong gil and the chang shen..
friendship between ppl..

esp touched when gong gil tried to follow chang shen in death by cutting his wrist
cos he did it which doing puppetry to the king..
and was saying out all those stuff tat chang shen had said..
it was evident tat he had not lost himself and was thinking abt chang shen.. touching!
then while the puppets moved.. he was slowly losing his life..
n tears were streaming out at the same time..
oh..

then the part when chang shen was blind n walking the rope..
gong gil was up there with him..
n they both asked each other wat would they be in their next life
the answer was that they wld still be jesters (xi zi)
cos life's but a big stage
strut through with style..
king and the clown.. touching n disturbing in its own way..
do watch it!
(sidenote : suddenly rem one part from naruto in the chunnin exam 1st test
to place uncertainties on the line, rather than leaving it to chance another day
it's so hard.. :)

after the movie, we had supper at shi lin ye shi..
haha.. hot dog n cheese omelette is nice!
ji pa too! pity the ou zai mee sua sold out!
nvr did had chance to eat it before in singapore.. :O i miss it.

after tat, went to ah boy cousins home to discuss hk trip!
in one more week time! yay! haha.. anticipating and yet a bit bu she de..
though it will only be 5 days i not ard..
haha.. great.. i'm weird..

now waiting for wc finals..
haha.. am i getting addicted to watching..
haha.. and only at then end of it.. haha..

haha.. will mia for sometime.. though i'm always ard..
then maybe someday everyone will be back..
