If i didn't wake up

Got this idea from my bro whom i told my dream to
he said might as well write it down..

the dream came from the extreme dizziness from my lunch today
and the nap resulting from the illness

here it goes..

i was lying on my bed
lights were off
and i could see the light streaming in from my room door

i knew i had slept a long time
and i wanted to wake up

but my eyes refused to focus..
my vision distorted
and my body paralyzed stiff

each time i try to get up
this wave of numbness fills my body

with each passing wave
robs a little of my consciousness
and much of my strength

i could feel darkness swallowing me in
and my breathing constricted
i had to force each breath
for i was losing my sense and will

the next moment
there was this very dark corridor
this man
he was pushing a hospital bed stacked high with blankets

a couple was rushing somewhere
they knocked into this bed head on
the man ran

and the guy in the couple wanted to move on
but wait
the lady said and stopped the guy in his tracks
pulling the blankets off

there was this baby
something unsettling about the baby
red eyes and pointed teeth
they had found what they were looking for

next scene
the same lady from before was in this dark area
she was trying to strangle the child
tighter and tighter her hands went

just before her mission was done
the man who ran off earlier arose from the floor
and threatened her w a woman in his hands
mum he said will not survive if the child dies

the same lady quietly nodded
deflated cos she had failed her mission
her tears falling into the smiling baby's eyes

she knew she had to make a mark
some sign of some sort
so she bit the child on the cheeks
bloodying the baby who continued
eerily jesting

fast forward to many years later
someone said..
everytime it rains, the child will think of his mum
camera zooms on the back of
this curly grey haired man
with a red checkered shirt

as he slowly turned his head
i saw
the familiar eerie grin
with a grown up face
strikingly resembling chow yun fatt

as if i had been told wat i needed to know
strength to challenge the binding paralysis came

i finally woke up

so glad to wake up

so glad
