Updates

Been a while since i updated anything..to retype something ain't tat easy anymore..Lots hath happened..and the last few months of 2004 hath been really happening..Same for 2005, the cyclic journey of rediscovering my meaning in lifeand losing myself.. hath just started again.

Sem exams 2004.. Took my first examinations since jc days.. Considering i had only 4 modules then, results weren't tat good as i got 1 A, 1 B and 2 Cs.the depression, the doubts, the uncertainty, the anxiousness..feelings for exams.. n only in exams.. hath been one hell of an experience..not going to describe in depth here.. those who take exams shd understand.

Straight after exams, there were no holidays for me..Practice for Song Signing 2004 for Christmas followed. Training practically 3 days a weeksigning like nvr before.. and group cohesion plus the tears n laughter..was one experience tat cannot be put simply into words. Met and found a lot of tan de lai de frens in fellow signers, trained n practised..late nights in school.. Formal performance in East Point, Bugis (which i didn't go) and West Mall was memorable and unforgettable. =) Gift exchange for my ss group for christmas.. =P

Other than song signing, had intersem ges too.. Going into the realm of chinese once again was no easy task as i had forgotten how to write a lot of chinese.. n to study aspects of theatre in chinese was like neo getting plugged out of the matrix. A definite eye opener and the trip down the rabbit hole like alice did proved to be exhilarating in the concepts learnt and the ideas proposed. Culture shock.. haha.. if it were to be put in simpler words. Even had to do a project in performance.. Explored into the aspects of feminism, queer culture, pop culture, trends in singapore and the basis, primary meaning of marriage and love.all tat by having a performance - playlike acting abt marriage. More get together sessions during the project preparation phase, met up with my long lost junior and got to know her frens in comm studies.. great ppl.. n thought provoking ideas.. :) More culture shock.. haha..

Not forgetting the HI Singapore ( RSPHI's own amazing race for the hearing impaired)got to group with the most crappy people in the trial run n fostered relationships still standing today.. oh ya.. xiaomei.. i got another mei le.. hee.. :P celebrated my 21st bday running ard singapore.. haha.. ;P had outing for amazing race group to watch gong fu hustle(i watched twice) and seoul garden(eat eat eat) and aj ice(think it shrunk le).. haha.. =P anyway, the actual run on the 9th Jan 05 was just as wonderful, though there were blunders here and there, it adds to the experience! ^.~

oh ya.. there was work too. Spent the transition between Christmas eve to Christmas, New Year eve to New Year, counting down with the patrons and selling popcorn and tickets at GV Jurong Point.. :P hee.. first ever time, well, interesting first time again.. gift exchange there too..haha.. :)

Then 2005 started, took up the ge of drama and alternative media.. hee.. acted again.. learnt some concepts in drama and acting( this time in english :P ).. though the teacher spoke in such slang and superb english tat most of it was more or less incomprehensible for me.. :Pmade a few ce frens there.. but we all landed in the predicament of not being able to take the subject as it was meant for CS students.. aye.. nmind, had a enjoyable tutorial(or shd i say practical) of impromptu acting with the ppl in the class ;P after tat faithful lesson, the school offered me another ge, so now i will be taking directed readings in modern chinese song lyrics (taking my first lesson tmrw.. dunno how it will turn out.. :P)

oh.. then first tuition for my HI kid started last sat! :D a cheerful n friendly sec 2 girl! :) hee.. hope i can tutor her to greater heights. :P oh.. then mine n junquan's students are sisters some more.. woo.. so qiao.. :P

hm.. think tat abt covers all, forgot wat i was writing le.. as this is my second post.. :P blogger ate up part of my blog the first time..other updates like subcomms i joined and tat we went back to visit the guys in army (didn't get to see my da jie! -_-), i will leave it other time. :)
