super miss those days when things felt simpler..
remember the days ppl used to send bday, xmas and cny cards via snail mail..
always so happy to receive cards, letters via post..
tat's one thing tat email doesn't replace..
the simple gan dong from the mail box.
remember the days when the house phone was the main form of contact
and late nites, long hours spent on it..
ever tried talking so much tat cordless phone ran out of battery..
and had to change to wired phone to continue talking..
ever tried wishing ppl happy bday through house phone..
ever tried calling ppl and hoping they be at home to receive ur calls..
things do change a lot with handphones..
shd i say..
even if u can be reached everywhere
do u wan to be reached everywhere and anytime
smses meant to subtlely bridge contact..
may very well take away the direct ways ppl had to stay in contact
interacting not via messages but expressions and little gestures.
choice..
life's abt consideration and choice
letting things be and not letting things be
though somethings can't be changed
there are some tat u can change.
