Spoilt mem card reader

Had a small bazaar just beside the canteen at workplace today.
selling IT products.
saw this 5 in 1 mem card reader going for just 6.90.
Though i was broke, happily bought it with money borrowed from jx.

Xiang bu dao!
just plugged it in.. n it worked! happy..
the next moment, it didn't work le! n the comp dun detect the usb mem card reader at all!
n the led on the reader nvr even light up le..
ar!!!!
N I HAVEN EVEN BEGAN TO USE IT..

YUCKS..

the receipt writes in small print below
7 days one to one exchange
admin fee will be charged for exchanging on products on cast to case basis
carry in warranty and needs to call to make appt?!

I hath to make appt and go all the way to some French Road to change something sold for 6.90
admin fee some more?

lessons learnt :
1) dun go for cheap stuff tat's too good to be true,
2) test the product thoroughly so can change on the spot or while the stall still ard.
3) this K something shop doesn't seem to hath good service (from the receipt n warranty) in case of damaged stuff..

as if to add to the unfriendly IT aura, now msn dun even work for me..
luckily blogger nvr abandon me.. :)

on the good side, bt surprised us by treating cakes today at work.. :O really once in a blue moon..
