training has started!

in the unearthly wee hours of the morning,
with only commitment as motivation
the chosen few embarked
on the most ardous journey
one could barely imagine.

to scale the highest nature reserve in singapore
the point known as
the hundred thousand mm above sea level

guarding this trophy fiercely were
fearsome territorial primates
who hunger for fresh human food
and the warriors themselves

fighting lack of rest
and dwindling rations
many a times the warriors could only draw
from their deepest reserves the energy to carry on

alas
through the many trials
laid before them
the taste of success was sweet
with the view nothing but the summit can offer
and an up lifting breeze found no where else

the warriors left content
ready to challenge the next peak the next time
till we meet again

adieus brave warriors
sheng, the yoga soccer man
xin, the all seeing image capturing eye
yi, the black swordslady
huan, the summitiar
and L, the primate wrestler

tiring but simple and fun! :)

Walk walk!

last nite was unexpectedly talking to a fren.. :)
hahaha..
n we both got so excited abt walking that we lost track of time..
hahahaaa.. fun! :D

Tang Yuan de Qiao He

Went to give tuition yest..
And it was another hectic round of questions and answers
8 students came (exclude joey)
and there were only 3 of us tutors (lucky fen si n jiahuan came)..
*pants* to an extent it was tiring
as we weren't used to giving tuition to so many ppl at the same time
and when all are asking different subjects of different levels,
our attention had to be divided as well.. Hope we didn't do too badly..
On the other hand, it's quite an experience,
from the time the ppl started exam break,
we were exposed to teaching different tutees and multiple ones concurrently..
sorta improving oh..
hahaa.. so i guess though tiring, it's rewarding! :)

After tuition, it was tang yuan for us! the old haunt of the tang yuan generation! haha..
long time nvr eat tang yuan le.. brings back the old tang yuan memories..
mm.. a simple bowl of tang yuan in almond milk.. :)
unexpectedly, this simple tang yuan brought abt a continuous chain of events..

too full to eat our dinner after fen si left, me n jiahuan set off for boon lay..
buying liang cha at jp, we were still full n decided to go fax in sch first before eating..
the faxing was quite fast and going up to tr to return keys to aaron,
we decided to go cant 11 for western or claypot..
ee.. after making tat ardously long journey to the other end of the sch, the stalls were not open..
so we felt like going to 651 bus stop..
halfway cant 2 was too enticing for the now hungry us..
n we changed our destination..
n since long time nvr see v jie, we bought coffee n tea for her to drink..
n ended up visiting her in her hall.. n sitting at her doorstep to talk.. :P

then so qiao junior came back from outside n we jio her to come v jie hall as well..
and we 4 sat at v jie door step n munch fries n talk.. (sinful! i fa re le still eat fries.. must control tl! )
next up was walking w junior n jiahuan back to hall 15.. then from there, me n jiahuan walked back to cant A!
wah.. today keep walking!! from one end to another!
walk to cc, walk to eat tang yuan (tat's one end of clementi to another)
walk to sac, walk up to tut room (up and down), walk to hall 11, walk to cant 2, walk to hall 2 v jie room, walk to hall 15, walk to cant a! (to and fro!!) wah seh...

finally got on 179 n was waiting at bus stop to change to 243..
met chaoliang n yeokie!! wah.. so long nvr see them le.. so qiao met them when i was returning so late..

a long day.. plop into bed immediately after bathing...

Snippets 18/4/2007

Earlier
reached slightly earlier than yesterday.. but still not enough.. hahaa
met pong at the lobby, yuan lai we same bus. Then following was senior n jie..
they were on the consec bus.. so qiao! hahaha.. everyone reach ard same time..
if i can wake up earlier, i can go buy breakfast for everyone!
i wan to eat white carrot cake at redhill market n hot dou hua from bukit merah!
craving!

Meetings
had so many meetings at work recently
each meeting only makes me sorta more "huh"
(haha.. can't find better word to describe)
feels like the whole thing i'm doing is heading to a strange direction..
mm.. feels like everyone's rather lost..

Walk again!
haha.. walked again today.. this time w jj n pong pong! cos senior had to leave earlier.
healthy healthy! :)

Runny Season
This the season to hath runny nose.. my nose a bit weird weird. n jie's seems to hath fallen ill at work too..
toby too.. ah boy too.. jun too..
ar.. think the weather really mm.. dry n dusty? :O humid..
everyone drink more water n eat more fruits n rest plenty! must take care ar!
esp those having exams n those on IA or working! jiayou!

Snippets 17/4/2007

Late
Woke up late today for work!
0810 n i just woke up! @_@ the first time i woke up so late for work..
normally i will already be downstairs waiting for the bus or on my way le..
to think i reach work w the bosses inside.. *crosses fingers*
MUST BE EARLY TMRW! (~.~)

B&J ice cream
hahaa.. went to Vivo w the lab ppl for lunch n also try to queue up for free cone day! :)
oo.. managed to queue up! the queue was super long and the 15 of us didn't make it any shorter.. hahaa
but we got it! THE FREE B&J ICE CREAM CONE!
however the speed at which the queue moved was also fast.. it was ard 15 mins when our turns came.
i personally took chocolate chip with cookie dough! *slurps*
while i had mouthfuls of ai shi's chocolate brownie as well.. wahaha..
more more.. ice cream!*_* shd hath tried pong's strawberry cheesecake n jj's chunky monkey! *ke xi!*

Walk with me
the 2nd day pong pong and senior walk w me to mrt after work le..
yesterday tu fa qi xiang de jio them walk.. hahaa.. n they shuang kuai de agree.. :D
we managed to reach mrt in less than 20 mins w pong pong skipping in her heels and all of us perspiring all over.. hahaa.. but we were really fast!
n then walking's really not bad! :) come on ppl.. healthy lifestyle! :)

today, pong pong n senior again so onz, all geared up for the walk! :D hee.. yay!
surprised cos *ahem* tot someone quite lazy de.. hahha.. but we packed up fast after the 2 hr+ long meeting..
n zoomed off to walk to the mrt..
in the lift, we managed to jio ah mah as well.. n met jie n bt at the lobby coincidentally..
so in the end, it was 5 of us (pong,senior,ah mah, jie n me) walking tgt though jie left halfway..
woo.. hao hao dang dang! hahaa..
ah mah really unexpected cos she was wearing office wear
but she pei us walk all the way there oh.. :)
first time so many ppl walk tgt, though we had a slow start..
but we ended up walking quite fast again.. hahaa..
