Day of the Leap Year 2008

A happy leap year day! :D

haha.. most importantly
in the good food, good company aspect..
slurps.. wat more can you ask for.. :P

morning met pat for cant 1 porridge..
slurps porridge for breakfast w youtiao is shuang! :D
though skipped the youtiao today..
it was still good for waking up the stomach.. :)

after tat met huan and jun at sac for our own fyp demo meeting..
hahaha..
then lunch w jun at nie..
yummy again!
haha.. ba chor mee of nie! :D
coupled w prawn soup and ohh.. the sweet nectar of watermelon juice!

evening was meet up w the leap year seven!
today only got 5 since walker long and rian had something on..
went early w nm to book the pasta waraku!
slurps slurps slurps!!
finally ate tat le!! haha.. despite the long queue..
we managed to get our seats in just 15 mins.. lucky leap day! :P
had baked cheesey penne with chicken and prawn
(cheesey! recommended if ya like cheesey food, prawn was oh man.. shuang kou!
and chicken.. kao till just nice!)
ronald had baked cheesey rice w chicken and scallop!
(scallop though few, yummy!)
nm had yummy spicy cabonera sphagetti w prawns though the mini one!
(oh man, the sauce and the prawns again, drools!)
kelly and cousin's food came later..
sphagetti w chicken n mushroom..
and the yummy spicy cabonera sphagetti w prawns! this time the regular one!

for dessert,
tiramisu w banana, strawberry, cornflakes, milk and ice cream! :D
oreo ice cream w banana n flakes! :D
the macha ice cream w tang yuan like thingies
and the macha ice cream pearl like thingy.. hahaa
yummy.. :D
haha..

though the serving not as big (if u take mini)..
but i think the food's not bad
tat explains the long queues
and why it's necessary to book a week beforehand..

tat abt sums up the leap year day..
a nice break from the deadlines ahead..

unexpectedly, also..
this year's the first time i ever noticed the leap year..
and so called celebrated it w tat much gusto and fanfare..

must cherish! :)
