just came back from JB! :D
today was fun!

was out with the other OVE peepz
biao mei, mama chicken aka walker, ronald and his US fren pho!
(nm let's go w u when u free k! :O)

even though we had quite a jam
trying to reach the other side
it's worth it! haha

food wise
yummy! :D
we ate from
kim gary
with a different menu from sgp
and finger licking food - norwegian salmon and naan curry platter! :D
and price only ard half the price here :P
to
stone grill
where we became farmers herding
chickens, goats and fishes on hot stones haha :D
though the end result was humorously messy haha
to
secret recipe
where the 3 farmer/farmeress downed 3 cakes
and additional lasagna
and 3 kidos trying to draw a heart shape w cream
haha

movie was good too :)
w a horror - thriller tat kinda gave an unexpected twist

company wise
our new fren pho was cool n fun!
haha.. feels like a mini culture exchange
conversing w him and ronald
will remember his armani specs haha
and him drinking rose of romance
and we 3 guys eating some honeyed pancakes
hahaa *trying not to be disturbed*
ohh his spanish fried rice at kim gary was amazingly nice too!
w flavour filling each single bits of rice :'D
pity he and ronald had to leave early for their flight to KL
so shall catch ya ard man!

will remember the new farmer / farmeress
who made simple food feel like a whole new adventure

overall,
i think this city square is quite a nice hangout place
for the lazy afternoon and lotsa food and good company!

Wedding Shopping and Bday Celeb

Was out shopping the whole day w whatever
tiring but fun! :D
haha.. from visiting all the jewellery shops
and trying on the necklaces
all the way from db to orchard
finally settling on the gift based on inputs from the wedding girl

haha.. lotsa
our departure ended up as dragonball
from ps to great world

and then dinner at zion w chanti
where we munch the delectable prawn noodles
and the v qing dan fish soup
and the a bit salty famous carrot cake
bioing someone's cousin and chatting abt anything and everything

haha
oh not forgetting our record breaking
six bottles of mineral water

Sometimes
one day somehow
i think i will forget how to talk
since talking contributes a lot to who i really am
perhaps i will lose myself in the progress

as we grow older,
i guess we tend to spend less on communication
and more on doing things

and sometimes
we forget that not everyone is telepathic
and we cannot keep guessing

even though i'm learning how to use my predictive talent
it's all not tat spot on..
haha..

i like to talk
i like to joke
i like to do puns
i like to be satirical

i like to smile
i like to laugh
i like to share thoughts and not just tat i talk to you

not much preferences for food i dun eat
except tat i prefer contradicting food like qing dan, spicy and sour (vinegar)
and definitely no crab, i dun take crab (crap sold separately haha)
the craze nowadays for me is yong tau hu

i like to sit by the sea and feel the breeze
or just look at the sky without thinking abt anything

i imagine all the time
from good things to bad things

i like to talk
abt day to day stuff
abt anything under the sky..
as long as it's not a one way thingy
it's worth a discussion

i like to listen too
though i tend to emulate the tot patterns of those ard me
and tat becomes a part of me

i like to sleep
and normally alarm clocks dun work on me
i prefer humane methods like slapping me awake
or just tickling my feet haa
or sometimes with the sun in my face
waking me up goes a long way

i like to draw
especially when feelings surge
pictures will relate to me
and sometimes they're just doodles

and when i port it over to the real one..
it does not work! bahhh.. n even comes out w an error..

just now do halfway, even discovered a bug in M*TL*B itself
had to do patches.. duh.. how often do u hang ur programming language
n needa patch it for it to work again..

Today's presentation was better than expected..
though i still spoke a bit too fast..
and got all cold n nearly zonked out
while trying to maintain eye contact w everyone...

but still.. as the first group and the only group today
in our class to present! we're cleared!

Day of the Leap Year 2008

A happy leap year day! :D

haha.. most importantly
in the good food, good company aspect..
slurps.. wat more can you ask for.. :P

morning met pat for cant 1 porridge..
slurps porridge for breakfast w youtiao is shuang! :D
though skipped the youtiao today..
it was still good for waking up the stomach.. :)

after tat met huan and jun at sac for our own fyp demo meeting..
hahaha..
then lunch w jun at nie..
yummy again!
haha.. ba chor mee of nie! :D
coupled w prawn soup and ohh.. the sweet nectar of watermelon juice!

evening was meet up w the leap year seven!
today only got 5 since walker long and rian had something on..
went early w nm to book the pasta waraku!
slurps slurps slurps!!
finally ate tat le!! haha.. despite the long queue..
we managed to get our seats in just 15 mins.. lucky leap day! :P
had baked cheesey penne with chicken and prawn
(cheesey! recommended if ya like cheesey food, prawn was oh man.. shuang kou!
and chicken.. kao till just nice!)
ronald had baked cheesey rice w chicken and scallop!
(scallop though few, yummy!)
nm had yummy spicy cabonera sphagetti w prawns though the mini one!
(oh man, the sauce and the prawns again, drools!)
kelly and cousin's food came later..
sphagetti w chicken n mushroom..
and the yummy spicy cabonera sphagetti w prawns! this time the regular one!

for dessert,
tiramisu w banana, strawberry, cornflakes, milk and ice cream! :D
oreo ice cream w banana n flakes! :D
the macha ice cream w tang yuan like thingies
and the macha ice cream pearl like thingy.. hahaa
yummy.. :D
haha..

though the serving not as big (if u take mini)..
but i think the food's not bad
tat explains the long queues
and why it's necessary to book a week beforehand..

then the whole face so paiseh n then turned away..

some stranger came to knock on my house door

when i woke up,
the person was gone and i saw the door in the pushed state

since they won't come and try our door..

jp was crowded, couldn't find seats for us..
so after going to jurong west stadium
and then finally ending up at the coffee shop at city harvest

food was filling and haha
today was fun..

Weird Dreams

Been having weird dreams this cny period
from being an eye witness to a murder
and ppl trying to kill me to keep my mouth shut..

to yesterday,
i dreamt i went for a job interview
and answered lotsa n lotsa questions.
The most unbelievable part was that
the job i was applying for is related to
astronomy. I had to dunno code a program or something like tat
for the stars so that i can take control of them or something..
*blurry*

hahaha..
oh well
bizarre and out of this world literally

today went mj and bai nian at junior's home

n mainly cos i dun like to blackjack..
lost all the money..

and time really flies past like nobody biz..

Happy Chinese New Year 2008!

Chinese New Year
just popped into chu yi in a flash..
albeit fast to react..

hmm..
as always, it feels as if..
the mood of cny seems to be slipping away so fast
as we grow older,
it just doesn't seem to be the same as it was
things appear to us in a different light..
and as we grow older..
the word tiring does come into play
a whole day of bai nian wears us up quite a bit..
and yet.. how much can we take before we say
tat's enough..

hmm
this year nvr saw 2nd,3rd and 4th uncle's family
4th uncle they all went to batam for cny..
then my mother was suggesting we go bi nian as well..
wat came into my head immediately was..
there isn't much more years we all can bai nian tgt..
and the feel and cohesion of all of us may just dull with time..

today, also saw my parents taking photos w the other bo bo and bo mus..
and i was laughing until i almost rolled on the floor
when i saw them bai poses for the camera..
hahaa.. young at heart my parents are..

but at the same time,
this chord is struck in me...
how long more can we all stay like this

family..
this concept, this feeling
we must upkeep it..
and strengthen it..
must

i'm afraid..
honestly..
of losing it all of a sudden

to think this fear is so strong suddenly..

Pre Chu Xi Walk About

Despite the current workload piling up like Alps and Himalayas
an adventurous group of us still went ahead w the plan
to challenge the mountains and seas of breathing bodies
at 春到河畔迎新年
first time went to any such carnivals
especially with the knowledge tat getting sandwiched is imminent

but honestly,
the experience was not bad
not as crowded as expected
especially after being through all those big walk and walkabout events
this one at least everyone not sweating like it just rained
n they dun really push

ohh.. had kenny roger's for dinner
not bad.. cheese n macaroni
and parsley potato! ohh.. sweet sour ribs..
hahaha.. honestly though, i prefer pai gu wang! :P

highlights for tonight is fireworks!
and of cos!
the free donuts! hahaha
shuang dao! actually got free donuts!
n can choose flavour some more
not bad not bad
though no bbt n craving for teh now..

oh zodiac at the chun dao he pan says
pigs will be lost n lonely on the career side
guess i better buck up in sending my applications
