I always get a bit sad around this time.. =P

Aye.. wanted to go sleep again.. but started watching american idol..
Got affected by the songs they sang..
mainly those sad ones..
"All by myself" - Jasmine
"Becaused you loved me" n "Don't cry out loud" - Diana

sigh.. =P
when i'm trying to be more optimistic n stuff like tat..
haha.. i just hath to get saddened in nights like this..
*shrugs* haha.. -_-

anyway.. felt tat all their performances were great..
but the judges had little good things to say abt jasmine n diana..
especially jasmine.. hm.. she performed quite good liao ma..
(their standards hath raised too high le?)
dun really like fantasia though..
cos think her voice a bit squeaky..
haha.. just my opinion..

oh ya..
dinner was great tonight!
although..
the potato egg (didn't mention just now) was a bit underdone.. =P
haha.. could taste the rawness of the potato..
had problem cutting the potato into fine shreds.. n my mum came to watch me cook again~! stress.. =P
haha.. she got quite pek chek seeing me cut the potato for ages..
the soup was a bit bitter (or u can say gan..) cos added pao sheng.. but too little hong zhao.. (red dates).. but overall still drinkable.. n not tat bad tasting la.. =P

the fish was nicely done.. maybe cos it didn't require much preparation.. only the cutting of ginger slices ba..
the control of fire n the time to cook was more impt n not easy.. had to ask mother.. =)

oh..the chicken n mushroom was nicely done too!
hee.. it was a success! happy~! ^_^ haha..
chicken fillet is much easier to cut compared to pork.. =)

the heng cai also not tat bad.. quite tasty too.. haha.. ^_^

in short.. today's almost all can make it except the egg.. haha..
finally, success after these few days of training.. =)
sense of relief..
though..
more practice is needed!
haha.. will carry on training tmrw..
my ambition : to be able to cook well!
